if you are not caring for your own family... UPDATE

"Most people understand that if you are not caring for your family, then you are probably not the kind of person who is going to be caring for other people." ~Barack Obama, October 24, 2008

Found in a rundown Boston estate: Barack Obama’s aunt Zeituni Onyango. Zeituni Onyango, the aunt so affectionately described in Mr Obama’s best-selling memoir Dreams from My Father, lives in a disabled-access flat on a rundown public housing estate in South Boston. A second relative believed to be the long-lost “Uncle Omar” described in the book was beaten by armed robbers with a “sawed-off rifle” while working in a corner shop in the Dorchester area of the city. He was later evicted from his one-bedroom flat for failing to pay $2,324.20.

Most people understand if you are not caring for your family, or your community, how are you going to care for your country?

This is the same ding dong who said he was a foreign policy expert because he had impoverished relatives in Kenya.

Great post!

So you are saying that we are all responsible for our extended family? Exactly what is the point? Go dig up some of McCain's extended family and let me know if he meets your standards.

No, I am pointing out his hypocrisy. He is the one who said the above statement. And he is the one who has famliy members living in slums, and teh one who has famliy living in the US illegally. And he is the one lying about it. And he is the one who wants us to vote for him based on his judgment and character.

His brother is extended family? His aunt and uncle (his only 2 living relatives in the US are extended family?)

maybe you should not be so angry at me, and evaluate the character and judgment of Obama.

after all, he said he was his brothers keeper.
